BALITHERM IONIT is an advanced plasma nitriding process. Furnace technology allows treatment of parts up to 3 m diameter. The BALITHERM IONIT treatment delivers significantly less distortion compared to gas nitriding, higher hardness and therefore also higher wear resistance. Pitting resistance is improved and tests according to DIN 3990-5 show top values.
