Metco 405A is now also approved to Airbus ABS5995 and Rolls-Royce OMAT 3/90 specifications in addition to the Pratt & Whitney PWA 1334 specification recently announced. Metco 405A nickel-aluminum wire is used as a general purpose coating material for restoration of worn or mis-machined components or as a thermal spray bond coat. It is designed for very reproducible feeding and spray processing.

Metco 1602A is designed for improved corrosion resistance where engines are exposed to harsher environments. It is a micro-alloyed Al-Si alloy that is blended with a polyester component to provide substantially improved resistance to corrosion damage.
