Eldim specializes in the manufacturing of various critical turbine components and complex assemblies such as high-quality seals, vane assemblies, and sheet metal components for hot-section engine applications.
Product range focusses on the High Pressure Turbine (HPT), Low Pressure Turbine (LPT), and High Pressure Compressor (HPC), predominantly made from super alloys:
Eldim specializes in the production of High Pressure Compressor (HPC) vane assemblies, engineered from premium stainless steel and advanced superalloy materials. These stator vanes are often delivered as complex segment assemblies, tailored to meet the demanding requirements of hot-section aero engine applications.
Leveraging our in-house cold forming and rolling capabilities, we also manufacture individual 3D unshrouded and solid vanes to exceptionally tight tolerances. This precision ensures optimal aerodynamic performance, durability, and integration within the compressor module—contributing to improved fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and extended engine life.
Eldim develops manufactures baffles—also known as vane inserts or core plugs—alongside related sheet metal components for hot-section turbine applications. These precision-engineered parts play a critical role in uniformly distributing cooling air across the internal surfaces of turbine vanes, enhancing thermal efficiency and component longevity.
Our seal segments and rings are used in the hot sections of aero engines, including the High Pressure Turbine (HPT), Low Pressure Turbine (LPT), and High Pressure Compressor (HPC). These seals serve critical functions such as airflow containment and thermal isolation, and are available as individual segments, complete rings, or integrated into complex assemblies.
We offer seals produced from forged, cast, or precision-formed rings, as well as fabricated sheet metal designs. Advanced joining and structural reinforcement techniques are applied to integrate honeycomb structures and other performance-enhancing features. We also offer seals manufactured using thin-wall segment methods for lightweight, high-temperature applications. All components are made from corrosion- and heat-resistant superalloys to ensure long-term reliability in extreme environments.
Most of the seals we manufacture are used in the engine’s hot section: the High Pressure Turbine (HPT) and the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT). We also manufacture High Pressure Compressor (HPC) seals. These seals can be outer air seals, interstage seals or have a different sealing function in the engine. We can supply these seals as individual segments, complete rings, or as part of a more complex component.
Seals can be produced from forged, cast, or precision-formed rings, as well as fabricated from sheet metal components. To enhance sealing performance, honeycomb structures are integrated using advanced joining and thermal processing techniques in controlled environments. We also offer seals manufactured using the increasingly popular thin-wall segment method, which supports lightweight design and high-temperature resilience. All seals are made from corrosion- and heat-resistant superalloys, ensuring durability and reliability in demanding turbine applications.
