Oerlikon’s site in Lake Orion provides state-of-the-art surface coatings for multiple industries including Automotive, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Home Goods, Food Services, and many more. Our primary competency is coating solutions for cutting tools, but we are also vested in gear tools, punching, forming, and stamping. We support these markets with our vast coating technologies and solutions, which consists of Oerlikon’s latest coating portfolios BALDIA, BALIQ and BALINIT HARD CARBON, Primegear and our newest Primeform process, along with multiple aluminium-based coatings. This is all supported with our pickup/delivery service for local customers, OTR carriers, and myBalzers 4.0 for transparency and improved comfort. Creating Solutions for Industries
Our experienced staff operates 15 coating systems 6 days per week to service our customer base. Our CSC (Customer Service Center) is also located on-site for support. The department is equipped with a multitude of equipment, including Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Bruker Alicona Edge Master, and a GFM Miko cad premium to support our customer network. The Metallurgical Techs are always available to guide with coatings, pre/post finishes, or analytical work.
