Introducing MetcoAdd H6282‑A

A new nickel superalloy for heat‑resistant, 3D‑printed components

We are a well‑established materials powerhouse and a trusted supplier of premium metal powders for additive manufacturing. With MetcoAdd™ H6282‑A, we expand our portfolio with a nickel‑based superalloy engineered for demanding, heat‑resistant applications.

With a chemistry similar to UNS N07208, MetcoAdd H6282‑A is a gamma‑prime‑strengthened nickel‑chromium‑cobalt superalloy engineered for high‑temperature strength, oxidation resistance, thermal stability, weldability, and creep resistance. Optimized for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF), the alloy is well suited for hot‑section applications in aerospace, industrial gas turbines, power generation, and automotive industries.

MetcoAdd H6282‑A enables the production of critical components such as hot section components for gas turbines, heat exchangers, and turbocharger parts—applications where mechanical strength, oxidation resistance, and long‑term stability are essential. The material can be printed crack‑free and allows its mechanical performance to be tailored through dedicated heat treatments to support either fatigue‑ or creep‑driven requirements.

Key benefits of MetcoAdd H6282‑A

✅ High‑temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and thermal stability
