Diamond-like carbon coatings (DLC) are the perfect solution for extremely demanding wear conditions and high sliding speeds, even without lubrication. These DLC coatings significantly reduce friction losses, making them ideal for use in engine components such as injection systems, valve trains, and pistons. Additionally, their excellent sliding properties make them suitable for a wide range of applications, from pumps and compressors to bearing housings and rollers, as well as components in textile machinery and medical technology.

BALINIT® DLC CLASSIC provides excellent protection against cavitation, abrasion, tribo-oxidation, and adhesive wear, and withstands high surface pressures that would normally lead to scuffing and cold welding.

****Max. service temp. [°C] These are approximate values out of the field. Due to thermodynamic laws there is a dependency of pressure in application.
