In November, the Additive Manufacturing community came together at Formnext, industry’s most important industrial 3D printing platform. Oerlikon was fully engaged, demonstrating our unique position in advancing the industrialization of Additive Manufacturing (AM).
Oerlikon is integrating and scaling the entire AM value chain by offering materials, design, production and coatings of industrial metal-based components.
At Formnext 2022 we showcased our unique set of capabilities and demonstrated that technology is ready to make the next step forward in serial production. We showed a variety of 3D printed metal parts manufactured for the aerospace, automotive, energy and tooling industries. The highlight of this year’s booth was the HELVETIA launcher developed by the ARIS student team of ETH Zürich, including a 3D printed nozzle and injector by Oerlikon AM.
