Olivier Bertoldi shared with readers of the Swiss magazine the challenges of supply chain management in the luxury industry
In an interview published by Ticino Management, a Swiss magazine focused on economics, finance and culture, Olivier Bertoldi, Head of Quality at Oerlikon Luxury, outlined the main ESG initiatives undertaken by Oerlikon Riri and Oerlikon Fineparts throughout their supply chain.
Among the most significant actions is the use of recycled materials, including brass, steel, precious metals and polyester. This achievement is the result of a structured and long-standing journey that has involved all the Group’s companies and various business functions, helping to embed sustainability into daily operations and processes.
Another key topic highlighted by Bertoldi is the traceability, monitoring and qualification of the supply chain, which have become essential strategic drivers for the luxury sector, where transparency and supply chain control are increasingly critical.
