“Critical Mass can only be achieved by joining forces”

The 2nd MTC showed how partnerships can accelerate the industrialization of AM

Often described as brand new technology, additive manufacturing (3D printing) was actually invented in the early 1980s by the American Charles Hull. In order to make the technology’s advantages more widely usable, it needs the strength of an entire group. Under the motto #industrializeAM, the 2nd Munich Technology Conference (MTC) on Additive Manufacturing took place on October 10 and 11. Representatives from industry, science and research met at the Technical University of Munich to exchange on experiences and successes with the technology during the two-day conference. On the second day, workshops were held by the seven partners of the MTC2 on specific topics.

Thanks to our partners the Technical University of Munich, Bayern Innovativ, Linde, GE Additive, TÜV SÜD and Siemens for a remarkable conference!
