Oerlikon Nonwoven wins FILTREX Innovation Award 

At this year's FILTREX conference in Berlin, Oerlikon Nonwoven received the Innovation Award for its hycuTEC hydrocharging unit. Conference attendees were able to choose from four innovations previously nominated by EDANA and chose hycuTEC by a large majority. The FILTREX Innovation Award is presented every two years and is the only award that recognizes innovations from the filtration industry.

hycuTEC水驻极充电工艺可以让典型FFP2过滤介质的压力损失减少到四分之一以下。35g/m²左右的典型过滤介质都可轻易在35Pa压强下实现超过99.99%的过滤效率。该工艺是一项面向未来的技术,与其他水驻极充电概念相比,hycuTEC技术的特别之处是水和能源的低消耗,因为这项技术在许多应用中都无需额外的干燥工序。

传统的水驻极充电工艺是对成品的非织造材料进行充电,而hycuTEC技术则是基于对每一根熔丝的完全型充电工艺。受控的雾化过程将电荷从水雾中均匀地转移到纤维上。通过一种特殊的添加剂使电荷在每根纤维表面上形成永久结合。结果是:过滤介质在整个横截面上都具备均匀稳定的静电饱和,并且有效纤维表面比表面充电的介质高出约10倍。

hycuTEC技术可以无缝集成到生产流程中,还可以作为即插即用组件轻松地加装到现有系统中。
