Remscheid/Zhejiang, China, May 02, 2011 - The 100,000th Oerlikon Barmag winder will be at home in the Chinese Zhejiang province. The winder – from the WINGS series – has been sold to Zhejiang Xinfengming Chemical Fiber Co. Ltd. in Tonxiang.
With an annual filament capacity of 750,000 tons and sales of more than 6 billion Yuan, the company is one of the largest manmade fiber manufacturers in the Zhejiang province. The multiple award-winning company predominantly produces high-end yarns and focuses heavily on its in-house research and development division. With three polymerization systems, each with an annual capacity of 200,000 tons, the POY, FDY and DTY manufacturer produces all its own raw material.
