Oerlikon Metco Receives Supplier Excellence Award from Snecma

This esteemed award recognizes Oerlikon Metco’s turbine component production facility in Debrecen, Hungary, for excellent performance with eight consecutive months of 100% on time delivery and 100% quality standard achieved on Snecma’s Suppliers Score card.

The facility in Hungary houses Eldim, Oerlikon Metco’s turbine components business line, and it is the company’s center of excellence for aero engine and industrial gas turbine components. The award highlights the company’s success in meeting the requirements for superior quality components for the CFM InternationalCFM56 engine distinguishing the organization as an exemplary preferred supplier. CFM56 series is a family of high-bypass turbofan aircraft engines produced by CFM, the 50/50 joint company between Snecma and GE. Snecma manufactures the fan, gearbox, exhaust and the low-pressure turbine.

Snecma’s General Manager of Combustor and Structural Parts CoE, Mr. Dominique Vaugier, grants the Oerlikon Metco team the prestigious Supplier Excellence Award.
