In the extruders of our subsidiary BB Engineering, a high-quality, homogeneous melt is produced by a mechanical process: the plastic granules are filled into a melt line and gradually liquefied by heating strips.
Mechanical produced melt for manmade fibers
The viscous plastic is finally passed through the high mechanical pressure of a so-called screw to the spinning head and pressed through it. Many different manmade fibers such as polyester, polypropylene and polyamide can be produced by this process. When designing the system and the melt lines, we comply with the technological requirements and structural conditions of the customer.
