For Oerlikon Fineparts, innovating also means investing in a process of research and continuous improvement, identifying not only low environmental impact solutions, but also alternative materials and production methods that help reducing emissions and achieving the set objectives.
In all our plants, particular attention is paid to the selection of materials used to manufacture the accessories, in order to offer a wide choice of items that guarantee not only high quality, but also respect for the surrounding environment.
The most frequently used metals are zamak, brass and steel. The recycled composition of brass and steel, amounting to respectively 80% and 50%, allows for a high rate of resource circularity as well as making it possible to maintain high quality standards. All precious metals used by Oerlikon Fineparts are purchased from RJC (Responsible Jewellery Council – Chain of Custody) certified suppliers, ensuring responsible extraction and processing procedures throughout the production and distribution chain.
