Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d)

For our new IT Project Management department, we are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager (m/f/d), based in Wohlen or Pfäffikon Switzerland, Balzers, Lichtenstein, or Munich, Germany.

You are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects in business applications, SAP or infrastructure ensuring consistency with OC Oerlikon’s strategy and goals.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of IT projects and programs
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Manage project budget and project resource allocation
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
  • Provide direction and support to project team
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Develop existing project products for customer satisfaction
  • Manage different kinds of projects, like, waterfall, stage-driven, SCRUM
  • Further development of project methodology, Project Competence Center and trainings for colleagues

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Informatics, Business Development or Project Management
  • At least 7 years’ experience in successful IT project management e.g. overall responsibility of a global ERP system, infrastructure, digitalization (prove of project experience necessary)
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent (certification on PMI or IPMA, SCRUM)
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools (PMI, SCRUM, Jira, PWA, Microsoft Project Server)
  • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk and change management
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Self-dependent working style, customer focus and decisive and assertive personality
  • Professional English and preferably German language skills (verbal & in writing)
  • Willingness to travel (20-40%)
