Recruiter (m/f/d)

We have an exciting opportunity for an "in-house" Recruiter (m/f/d) to immediately join our team of In-house Recruiters for a 12 month assignment. This position will be based in Remscheid. As a Recruiter you will deliver the complete recruitment process, managing stakeholder and candidate expectation throughout and providing solutions to recruitment challenges. You have a passion for talent acquisition and are motivated by providing an exceptional experience to all candidates throughout the recruitment process, adapting your approach to suit the individual needs of each candidate. This role will develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Actively sourcing candidates
  • Attracting candidates by placing job advertisements
  • Screening resumes
  • Candidate application administration incl. updating the candidate tracking system
  • Coordinating interviews and interviewing candidates
  • Conducting background checks when necessary Negotiating offers
  • Building candidate pipelines by researching and contacting universities, employment agencies and internet sites
  • Building talent pools for future reference
  • Empower the employer’s reputation by a high quality and service oriented recruiting process
  • Knowledge transfer of the state of the art methods and techniques in recruiting (e.g., active sourcing via social media channels) to the HR partners in OMF Germany

We expect

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a Human Resources Discipline required or equivalent career experience
  • 2-3 years of hands on recruiting experience with high volume recruiting strategies required
  • 2-3 years of experience with web based recruiting tools such as SuccessFactors
  • Experience in active sourcing of candidates
  • Comprehensive behavioral based interviewing and candidate assessment skills
  • Telephone experience in interviewing or customer service
  • Must have proven ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast paced, high demand environment
  • Experienced in recruiting for international locations required
  • Experience attending job fairs, performing university recruiting and talent receptions preferred
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Verbal and written communication skills in German and English required
