Post-Merger Integration Manager (m/f) 100%



  • Take over the integration project management of selected deals in close cooperation with the acquiring business owner and ensures on target management of project budget, resources and time.
  • Support the business managers (P&L owners and Functional Managers) to establish the deal specific integration concept and to develop the integration masterplan
  • Co-develop synergy initiatives, quantification and detailed planning (milestones, key decisions, interdependencies)
  • Steer integration taskforces, co-develop integration deliverables and milestones
  • Supervise compliance to integration process (i.e. timelines, reporting, pressure test analysis and conclusions)
  • Recommend cross-workstream decisions to Steering Committee
  • Identify and raise interdependencies between integration workstreams and support issue resolution / escalation in case needed
  • Support advancement of Oerlikon PMI framework and associated processes & tools
  • Coach and support dedicated integration managers on integration best practices
  • Ensure effective stakeholder management across cross-functional teams (internal and external) and senior management teams of business segment and Oerlikon Group


We expect

  • Fluent English is a must. Any additional language, particularly German is an advantage
  • 2-3 years specific knowledge and actual leadership experience of M&A and post-merger integration projects in an international environment is a pre-requisite
  • Effective managerial experience in strategic, financial and quantitative analysis and in complex project management is essential
  • Ability and exceptional interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally, communicate at all levels confidently, manage teams and supervise outside professionals
  • Previously fully managed or been tightly involved in end-to-end post-merger integration projects, preferably with a consulting company or a corporate
  • University degree with main subject in Engineering or Business, MBA / PhD is an advantage
