Manufacturing Process Engineer (m/f)

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer (m/f) based in Munich (Germany). This role is responsible for further developing, improving and setting up the entire manufacturing process chain in the Additive Manufacturing environment (including all process interfaces) and drive the production to a higher automation degree.



  • Develop and improve the manufacturing process chain within the Additive Manufacturing (AM) environment
  • Research and analyse the manufacturing process hardware market from additive manufacturing to post-processing machines and automation technologies
  • Evaluation with Sales & Marketing, Production and R&D which are the most efficient and best technologies to fulfil customer requirements
  • Be at the forefront of research and development of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Development of a manufacturing process cost model
  • Integrate (different) hardware systems in overall process chain
  • Develop automation solutions and process interfaces


We expect

  • Education in mechanical engineering with an optional PhD in manufacturing process technologies or interface/ interdisciplinary fields
  • Minimum 3 years hands on experience
  • Proven broad manufacturing process know-how
  • Additive Manufacturing metal production experience optional
  • Comfortable in an agile environment, working in cross-disciplinary teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills at all levels inside and outside the organization
  • Excellent knowledge of English and German language
