Pfäffikon SZ, March 19, 2008 - The management of OC Oerlikon Corporation AG, Pfäffikon engaged a group of consultants in February to examine the potential for further cooperation between M+W Zander, Stuttgart and OC Oerlikon. Reviewed in particular was the potential for cooperation at a project level. At the same time, the company repudiates media reports which claim that the purchase of M+W Zander or parts thereof are already at an advanced stage. Any sale to OC Oerlikon is neither desired, intended nor planned by VICTORY Industriebeteiligung AG.
Cooperation on a project basis between Oerlikon Solar and M+W Zander's ‘Facility Engineering' business unit for the conception of comprehensive solutions, such as in the planning and construction of solar factories, is an example of how this cooperation could be enhanced on the operative level to the benefit of both M+W Zander and Oerlikon.
