Management Change at Oerlikon Vacuum
Pfäffikon SZ, Switzerland, August 23, 2012 – The Oerlikon Group will shortly welcome Dr. Martin Füllenbach as CEO of its Vacuum Segment. Dr. Andreas Widl, who held the position since 2008, has left the company. Martin Füllenbach’s top priority will be the delivery of a growth oriented business plan. The Segment’s cost structure will also undergo a comprehensive review to ensure long-term profitable growth of Oerlikon’s Vacuum business.
Martin Füllenbach (44, German citizen) is an internationally experienced executive who has held several leading positions at global industry groups such as DaimlerChrysler Aerospace and EADS. His latest position was Executive Vice President of Voith Turbo, a division of Germany’s Voith GmbH, where he successfully led its profitable organic and inorganic growth on a global scale. He holds a PhD in economics from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Nuremberg, Germany. Martin Füllenbach started his career as a commissioned officer of the German Air Force and has served in active duty for more than 11 years.

Subject to Voith’s Board approval, Martin Füllenbach will take up with Oerlikon on October 15, 2012.
