Assists Engineering team and supervisor in leading daily work of production employees to ensure compliance with established safety, production, code of conduct, and company policies.
Develop standard operating procedures for digital and paper workflow for AM processes.
Develop, implement, and use standard work processes for creating and quoting metal 3D prints
Assess, document, and work to optimize shop activities pertaining to all aspects of 3D printing including but not limited to:
- - upstream activities such as powder handling and reprocessing
- - Direct and indirect build related activities, such as digital file preparation, part serialization, traceability requirements, and machine preparation
- - Downstream activities, including part removal, inspection, compliance to customer requirements, shipping, and data archiving
Acts as the lead trainer for all new technicians/ operators and operator cross-training on assigned shift.
Fills in for shop operators as needed, and performs all duties expected of a shop operator to include quality checks, filling out quality records, and production and downtime reporting.
Commits to corporate values, goals, mission, and vision; leads by example.
High School graduate or GED
Experience with CAD and 3D build preparation such as Magics RP.
3 years of production/ shop floor experience (preferred)
Experience working with 3D printers, preferred metal PBF systems experience
Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office and MRP/ERP software
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and adaptable, and to change priorities and direction with minimal notice allowing for optimum effectiveness.
Highly self-motivated, and works well under pressure.
Must have excellent attendance record and willingness to work overtime as needed.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High degree of attention to detail.
Progressive drive to seek opportunities in support of continuous improvement
Ability to maintain a productive working atmosphere
