AlTiN/TiSiN-based BALIQ MICRO TISINOS complements the AlCrN-based product, BALIQ MICRO ALCRONOS, and enables micro-machining of hardened steels in the hardness range of HRC 50 to 70. Exceptionally wear-resistant, also at extreme application temperatures, it allows reliable manufacturing of even the most delicate surface structures. Outstanding surface quality and trouble-free chip removal ensure high component quality, and eliminate the need for mechanical post-machining treatments, such as grinding or expensive polishing.
