BALIQ® MICRO ALCRONOS, which was specially developed to meet the requirements of micro drills and milling cutters, ensures the highest possible smoothness and flawlessness, whilst, at the same time, providing outstanding adhesion. As an AlCrN-based coating, BALIQ® MICRO ALCRONOS is also highly wear-resistant when subjected to high temperatures and exhibits almost no tendency to stick, even with stainless steels and other difficult-to-machine materials. The special properties of the BALIQ® coating eliminates the need for mechanical post-treatment.

***Intrinsic stress [GPa] Measured by XRD and/or bending method (Stoney equation). The calculated thermal stress has been substracted.
****Max. service temp. [°C] These are approximate values out of the field. Due to thermodynamic laws there is a dependency of pressure in application.
