Components of devices such as ceramic seal discs in taps, pneumatic valves, ceramic shafts and pump bearings are exposed to extreme operating forces over a long period of time. To keep these devices running reliably for longer, it is imperative to protect their components from wear under high operating forces at elevated temperatures. The ta-C structured hydrogen-free hard carbon coating BALINIT® MILUBIA meets these requirements even in dry running when other coatings have reached their limits.

BALINIT® MILUBIA is extremely hard and has a very low coefficient of friction. Due to the low coating temperature (< 100 °C) it can even be applied to components made from heat-sensitive materials, such as steels tempered at low temperatures, aluminum alloys and even plastics
